ALWAYS perform the following before, during, and after any type of exercise activity.
Before – Self-Diagnostic: you know you better than anyone; make sure you are healthy, ready and capable of performing what you are preparing to do!
During – Know your own limitations: don’t totally empty the tank; in other words, don’t overdo it! Learn your exhaustion threshold and when to slow it down!
After – Reward yourself wisely: recover from exercise properly with healthy nutrition, water, and electrolyte replenishment. Resist and avoid unhealthy foods and soft drinks!
